Maker / Origin: Mr. Whelden of Whelden & Fisher
Medium: Sheet iron and copper with iron bracing and retaining the remains of yellow sizing with faint traces of the original gold leaf.
Miscellaneous: Provenance: Wesleyan Seminary, Springfield, VT (removed from belfry in 1896 and put in storage); private VT collector, 1992. Literature: Mary Eva Baker, "Folklore of Springfield," 1922, p. 39-40.
