Pine with the original painted decoration of swags, flowers, and birds on a yellow ground. Wallpaper lining.

Ht. 5 1/4", W. 11 3/4", D. 5 3/4"

This exquisite box is covered with decoration, the birds delightfully flanking a spray of red and blue flowers tied with a ribbon, the front and sides with urns and flowers, the back panel with yellow and brown sponging and the interior lined with floral wallpaper. Clasp restored.
