Dimensions: 24 x 17 3/4"
Date / Circa: Circa 1840
Maker / Origin: Attributed to Amanda Powers (possibly sister to Asahel Lynde Powers), Barnard, VT
Medium: Oil on wood panel. An original narrow, molded, wooden frame is directly attached with early nails to the front edge of the panel. Although there is a slight warp to the panel, the frame has kept the painting from dramatically bowing.
