Excellent condition.

Each depicting different animals: a squirrel, cow, rooster, horse and one w/two birds. Dated and Inscribed, “Elizabeth Hoff 1858”. Translations of inscriptions on reverse:

“The Good Cow is very reliable, as experience teaches daily”

“The cock cries ‘cock-a-doodle-doo’ in order to wake the people early”

“The Squirrel dwells in the trees, and is small, lively little animal and is very nimble and leaps with great joy”
