Sheet iron and copper with iron bracing and retaining the remains of yellow sizing with faint traces of the original gold leaf.

Made by Mr. Whelden of the Whelden & Fisher tin shop for the Wesleyan Seminary, formerly the First Methodist Church, Springfield, Vermont.

Provenance: Wesleyan Seminary, Springfield, VT (removed from belfry in 1896 and put in storage); private VT collector, 1992.
