An extremely rare and important lift-top chest over drawers with two over one false drawer fronts over two full drawers on ball feet
Provenance: Descended in the original Guilford family until 1925 when it was acquired by a private collector where it has remained until recently purchased.
Condition: Exceptional, original structural condition. Only the brass pulls have been restored. A 19th c. over varnish was removed as it obscured the strength of color of the remarkably intact original painted finish.
